In accordance with California’s AB 1200 (Health & Safety Code Section 109010), manufacturers of listed cookware must disclose whether certain chemicals are intentionally added to the product’s food-contact components and handles.

Requirements of California AB 1200

Beginning January 1, 2023, manufacturers of cookware sold in California that contains one or more intentionally added chemicals present on the DTSC’s designated Candidate Chemicals List — in the handle of the product or in any surface that comes into contact with food, foodstuffs, or beverages — must post that information on the internet website for the cookware. The presence of a chemical on the list below does not mean the product is unsafe or poses a health risk.

Our cookware components comply with applicable limits and regulations set forth by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, including Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations governing safe use of materials in direct contact with food.
